Xenon Headlights

Dear all,
Can anyone tell me if it is normal for there to be a purple rim of light at the top of the headlight beam???

Normal on your car. It is the prism in the headlight optics that
creates it.

Yup....isn't it gorgeous? I have a 2003 E with xenons, has the same effect. This is a normal and deliberate
