Mercedes part?

:D: Ok its back together again and when I cleaned out my
wash tray I FOUND :eek: a woodruff key :( . Dims are 9.13 mm long by 2.95mm wide by 3.67mm deep. Can anyone out there help?? 1983 Mercedes Benz 380SEL (126 Chassis) V8-3839cc 3.8L SOHC (116) picture is attached as file - there are no part #'s on it. |

that would be my guess. picture even looks like an offset cam key.
don't know what all was done but did you replace anything on or about the camshaft? |
