The rear driver's side window will go down, but not up using either console or rear door switch. I removed rear door panel and powered motor from 12 VDC and it goes up fine. I got the manual on CD and it looks like the problem will be either a bad connection or a faulty N57 Convenience Control Unit. My question is where is the N57 CCU located? Thanks.

This problem is usually the wires that go inside the car and disappear behind the b-pillar covering. You have to remove the covering and find the broken wires, then repair them. (They are inside a black covering that is woven and gets very tight over the years)
