Fuel Filter and Hose Change 77 280E

Are there any special prcautions I should take when changing the fuel filter on my 1977 280E? I also have to change the hose from the Accumulator to the Filter due to a leak.

If your filter is next to the fuel pump(electrical connections nearby), I would disconnect the battery ground strap first as a precaution.
