Later today I'm fitting a towbar to my E300TD and I need to remove the rear bumper, I guess I need to look for the bumper fixing bolts somewhere in the trunk but to make life easy can someone confirm this, also how many are there?

Bumper came off easily (about 5 mins), there are three bolts in the trunk, the bumper then withdraws rearward to disengage the 'slide ins' on the sides.
Towbar I am fitting is a detachable made by Bosal and is definately not easy to fit, I've worked on it for about six hours now and there's still lots to do, though I was interupted by a few cold beers. If anyone plans on fitting one of these then email me first, I can tell you everything NOT to do!
