changing rear shocks on 300E - DIY (?)

Can somebody point me to a online step-by-step manual (DIY) on how to change REAR shocks on a 300E (1991 300E 3.0L)? (I bought Bilstein comforts on performance products for $61 each)

If you know of threads that have dealt with the step-by-step on this topic, please send me the thread info ..... I did do searches on this forum and I could not find an online manual or detailed information on how to replace the rear shocks.

Thanks very much!

p.s.: I have ordered the "Haynes Service & Repair Manual" and I don't have it yet ....

The Haynes manual should cover it, but you shouldn't need it. The tops of the shocks are accessed in the trunk and the bottoms are obvious. The only tip you need is to put the bottom in place and start the bolts, then cut the wire that keeps the shock compressed and guide into place as it extends.

This is a simple job.

Good luck,
