New diff, new ratio
FYI: had my worn differential replaced for a reconditioned one. Changed the ratio from 3.46 to 3.23 (-/- 6%) to decrease the roar of the engine. Result is fine: engine runs much quieter. Car has a bit less power, but plenty left. Autobahn driving much more pleasant now.
