I just bought a '98 E320 which I love. I got all the options I wanted except the multicontour, or orthapedic seats. I was wondering if those seats could be retrofitted into the E320. If so, how much would it cost, and is there a cost effective way to do this?

According to my local MB dealer, the Multi contour seats are the same as the standard set up with air bladders added to the knee, lower&mid seat backs and sides.
If you can find a set, they should bolt right in, however you will have to mount & wire in the air pump. My gues is BIG $$$$ from MB. Try local salvage yards that specialize in insurance totals to locate a pair. Good Luck Gary ------------------ 00 AMG E55 96 DCM Impala SS 94 ZR-1 81 Corvette Cpe |
