Does anyone know if any 500Es ever came with a space-saver spare? I know all 90+ SL wheels fit the car; did any come with a space saver?

To the best of my knowledge, all 500E's came with a full size 16x8" spare with 225/55/16 ZR tire on it. Not sure about the "special edition" euro cars with 245/45/17 as stock. W129 wheels are basically the same size, are you looking for a space saver for the 500?

Indeed I am looking for one, Lee...it's part of my stereo upgrade, since the Plan is to use the spare tire well as a subwoofer enclosure. A space-saver would give a bit more room in there, which certainly wouldn't hurt; however, it's not absolutely imperative but I wanted to explore my options.
