Generally the pass. side isn't too bad, thanks to the clearance around the bolt. Driver's side is a different story, there's not much room to get any real leverage on the bolt. If you can find a 17mm box end wrench with one end cut/ground off, that's the best tool I've seen for getting the top bolts off. Get a strong crowbar/pipe, find a good piece of structural steel to leverage against, and use that on the bolts.
(Be careful what you use as a fulcrum...!) As for the bottom bolts, they're not as bad. Just be real careful you don't round out the allen bolts. Put a scrap of paper towel on the allen head to help take up slack space and give it more bite. -anthony |

The above is good advice, but you will also need a floor jack and a piece of 2 X 12 or something to distribute the load on the oil pan while raising the engine and transmission.
Good luck, |

The driver side is a piece of cake if you take the mount bracket off the engine block as a unit with the mount still attached....

I wouldn't even think of anything but OEM ... and the best of them...
The difference in price and performance, never mind the labor, [ even if you do it yuourself for free], is not worth the difference... |
