420SEL "check engine" light question

Hello,

Let's see if anybody has experienced this;
In the morning I start the car, after about 10 seconds it settles into it's usual, almost smooth, idle....5 seconds later the RPM's go down to about 350 and the check engine light comes on. This happens for 1-2 seconds then back to normal.

Any guesses/informed opinions?

Does your ABS also come on when the check engine does. If it does probably the OVP. If not chances are the O2 sensor is on it way to retirement.
Hope this helps.
