B2 piston
Hi all,
This weekend I removed the trans from my cars as I'm going to swap them around. In each trans I found the rear servo/piston cover easy to push in (by accident). One it crooked, and the other is just pushed in about 2-3 mm. When it pushed in I heard a noise that sounded like fluid squirt inside. Have I done internal damage to the trans or piston or do I just need to reseat the cover. As I've never done this before, any pointers would be helpful. Both trans are from 1987 300D's, one with 279Kmi and one with 175Kmi. Thanks, Brian Toscano

NO damage, you just moved the piston in a little bit. Just reseat the cover.
