1997 E320 coil/electric problem

i have a 1997 e320.
i had some issues with the motor idling badly and running rough.
i have changed the plugs and also the coil connectors to the plugs and the car is 100% better.

if i rev it at idle it feels rough throughout the rpm range. you can feel slight vibration thru the steering.

when i drive slowly it feels smooth but as soon as you "floor" it and it kicks back in the gears it feels rough.

i did replace the engine mounts but it is still there. at idle the engine is smooth.

i feel the engine is running smooth now but a vibration is coming through some where.

please help :D

Did you change the trans mount ? The trans mount is also the rear engine mount....

I AM CONFUSED (NO COMMENTS PLEASE:D )

drove the car today. felt rougher than yesterday.
called a mech shop to take it in. drove the car there and i could feel under acceleration that the engine was clearing as i drove.
when i got there it was nice and smooth. tech felt i should wait and get it back when car is "bad" again.

it does not seem like a vibration from any mountings but rather the feel of the fuel or spark not getting through cleanly.

- how do i check the coils?
- how do i test the injectors to see if the right voltage is getting to them?
- i saw a post in the archives about somebody having problems and it ended up being the battery??

ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED.....:)

If the problem is fuel/ignition related , have the car scanned for fault codes ...that will aid the diagnosis direction

there are NO fault codes...
