Pad ware indicator light

When I start up the brake pad ware indicator light comes on.

After about 5 secs driving or when I increase the revs up a little the light goes out.

The pads are fine but the sensors may need to be replaced, but is it normal for this light to go out once you start?

Thanks

All the dash lights should go on momentarily to show the driver that the indicator bulbs work. I don't believe they all go on and off at the same time. The brake pad wear indicator light is probably behaving normally.

I don't think you would have posted if you didn't sense you had a problem. Did the light behave differently before, or did you just acquire a pre-owned vehicle?

You got it, I kinda get the impression when I rev the engine a little the light goes out a lot faster, perhaps it is as a result of the elec system being replenished after the start.

correct is was pre-wned.
