Cargo Cover (reprise)
I tried this a few months ago, but don't think I got any ideas.
I have a 1988 300TE, but I'm missing the cargo cover. The stealer suggested happily that I could order one for about $820. Any ideas for an alternate source? Thanks.

Try Potomac Pat. He works at a Mercedes Benz recycling yard. He might have one or could find you one:

You're welcome.
There is also www.silverstarrecycling.com There are others that I don't remember off-hand. Try the search function for a yard located in Costa Mesa, California. I'd try a search for "Costa Mesa". There's also a recycling yard in Anaheim, California, I think called A-1 Benz and Beemer. I've mentioned it here on this site, before, too, so try the search function, if you dare...

Potomac Pat hasn't replied, so I'll try the other place here in California.
