central locking on 126

Without looking at the diagram in the book.... I just noticed today that the rear passenger door lock was not working with all of the others. Could it be that this door is the last one on the vacuum line and easily fixed?

The actuators are hooked up in parallel so it's not the last one.

It's not difficult to fix but replacing a leaking hose is easier than replacing a dead actuator.

If they are in parallel, if it was a leak in the system, the driver's door would probably act up too. Is that a fair assumption?

Probably a fair assumption, but it is a parallel system. It's probably a pinhole leak at the actuator or close by downstream. It subverts the signal to that actuator enough for it not to work, but it's not big enough to affect the entire system.

I think the easiest approach is to pull the door panel on the affected door and check for vacuum and pressure feeding that actuator as the doors are locked and unlocked. If there is not vacuum and pressure, trace the line to the branch. If there is vacuum and pressure, replace the actuator or do a search on George Murphy for replacement diaphragms.
