No back-up light on '94 C280
 
Jiggling the shifter DOES bring the backup lights on somewhere in between P and R. Just noticed the problem yesterday. The shifter bushings were replaced couple of months ago. The problem may have been existing since then. Any suggestion where I should start looking? Thanks.

Sounds like the switch needs some minor adjustment. It probably got moved when you had the shifter bushings changed,

Where is the switch? Where do I access it? Can anybody share some light? Thanks.

The switch is under the car attached to the transmission and it is a little difficult to get to.
