Exclamation Fast blinkers and no temperature readout, please help!!

1996 SL500. I was working on it today installing a remote radar detector. I worked on the front of the car where the remote unit goes, then ran wires thru and under the fuse box to under the drivers side dash.

Is there anything I might have knocked loose or triggered that would cause the blinkers to blink fast and the temp readout to not work? The blinkers still work, they just blink fast with turning, but with hazards still blink slow. The temp gauge still lights up, just no readout.

Thanx much, I figured I would try you guys before I spent the time troubleshooting. BTW I had a new front bumper cover installed yesterday by a body shop, but Im almost positive the blinkers were working fine after I picked it up.

Great, I found the black/red wire loose under the fuse compartment for the signal flasher, hooked it up and my signals are normal now.

But my temp still has no readout!! Now I really am not sure where to look!! Anyone here? I feel like Im talking to myself, sigh.

Where is the temp control unit for the temperature display, and where is the sensor? I see in the front bumper one of the covers has a llittle rubber antenna on it, is this the temp sensor? Im wondering if its something the body shop did not reconnect after replacing the front bumper cover.
