I just ordered a K40 portable detector and I am just wondering if the good comments I have heard are true. If anyone has any feedback, please let me know. Thanks!

Don't mean to be snide, honest, but haven't you "closed the barn door after the horse has bolted"? Usually people ask for advice BEFORE they buy, not vindication AFTER they buy. Why don't you live with the unit you just bought and report back to us about YOUR experiences?........Andras

This is not at all what I mean. I have done my research and I feel that I have purchased one of the best detectors. I may have stated the question in a poor manner. I have lived in Virginia all my life where detectors are illegal, and I obviously have no hands on experience. I just wanted to know what some owners thought about the ease of use, effectiveness, etc. I have no doubts of my purchase, I just want to be able to use it to its fullest potential.
