Head Gasket Replacement How2

Luck, or lack of it.
My '86 European 230E 4 door 4 cyl has
decided to leak the head gasket
(white smoke when it's hot, and no increase
in oil level).

Anyway, I've changed gaskets before (on
other cars with no problems), here's my
question.

Any idea's where I could get a hold of the
Engine Instructions etc to know the torque
for this head.. etc

I'm sure I can get the gasket shipped from
Europe, but the engine section of the
manual in English may be more difficult.
