Hi,

Is the outside temp guage adjustable? Mine currently reads about 9 - 10 degrees higher then the actual temp. Its consistent no matter what the outside temp is.

I have a 1990 300CE-24

Thanks
-Kevin

Hi Kevin,
You should try doing a search on this topic - I remember several posts regarding adjusting the placement of the sensor to provide a more accurate reading.
Regards,
Nick

You will have to replace the sensor if it is off and then place it in the right location.

It is not adjustable. But before replacing the sensor I would do a little test: place the probe of a reasonably accurate digital thermometer next to the temperature sensor (in the front bumper)and compare the two readings. If they are within a few degrees then the sensor is ok. If the sensor does need to be replaced, you can do it yourself for less than $10.
