My container of MB coolant (Part Number Q 1 03 0002) says "Made in the U.S.A for MB US." It does not say made BY MB.
MB states clearly in documents provided to their techn service reps that you can use any coolant that is MB approved. This implies that they do approve other brands. (e.g. Zerex G-05)

well. I found out what the difference between the blue and yellow coolent is. The yellow coolent complies with the MB spec sheet No. 325.2, while the blue coolent complies with the spec sheet No. 325.0. DOn't know exactly what that means, but I was given 2 bottels of coolent which looked the same, but one was yellow and one was blue. I've mixed them together for a test, but I dbout anything will go wrong. I'll have a pic of BLUE coolent sometime this weekend
