AC Question

Ok, today was the first really hot day of the season. I parked my e420 in the sun and when I returned and turned the AC on it blew hot air. Eventually the AC kicked in but for awhile I was very worried. It wasn't like it just couldn't keep up it just wasn't cooling. When I got moving alittle then it cooled. I have never had this problem before(although I have only owned the car since January). I have run the AC on many occasions but never from this HOT situation. It seems to be running fine now. ONe more thing..when the car was blowing this hot air..it was humid air just like Charlotte air..like the condensor wasn't cooling..but then works like a charm a short time later.

Any ideas?
