1988 300E Oil Pan
Hello,
My son realized that his 300E was leaking worse and worse around the oil pan and decided to change the gasket. He has removed all of the bolts and loosened the pan but can not remove it from under the car. Is it possible to remove the pan and change the gasket? If so how is this possible? Need so details. I REALLY dont wanna be his taxi!!!!

You will have to remove the motor mount bolts and raise the engine. To prevent radiator damage, you should probably remove the radiator hoses and there may be other things to watch for to prevent damage.
Good luck, |

Are you sure the leak isn't coming from the rear of the head gasket or the timing chain cover?
