16v mechanic in West LA
 

Hi there,
I have an '85 Euro 16 valve. I live in Santa Monica - anybody know of a good 16v mechanic on the West side of LA? How about a good auto-electric shop on the West side? Thanks very much for your help. Randy

The best Mercedes mechanic in the area is Enrique of Mr. MB Motors.

You might think it's far from where you are, but I drive all the way over from Diamond Bar.

He is so good that there are people that actually have their car hauled in from out of state to get worked in. There's a guy in Montana who hauls in his S600 for service.

Last time I was there, there was a guy who drives all the way down from Bakersfield.

My favorite shop was Pacific Motors on Pico and 7th in santa monica (1 block north of Lincoln Blvd.). Ask for Rick and tell him that Igor sent you there. He has an excellent mechanic by the name of John. These guys are just great. If you do go there tell him that I just turned 300,000 miles on my 260E in Minnesota.
