Are there any replaceable bearings in this fan?When the fan is off, should it move freely when you move it by hand or should it have some resistance,like a clutch.

420 Benz? Benz , Remove the fan from the car. The bearing is enclosed with spot welds holding it together. Drill out the spot welds. Remove the bearing, purchase a new one. Install the new bearing and place short screws w/ locknuts in place of the spot welds . Reinstall in car. Norm in FL
