power window

My left front power window keeps blowing fuses. I replace the fuse and the window works fine. After a few minutes the fuse blows again, even if I am not using the window. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Robert Davis

you obviously have short in the circuit supplying the power window.

read that it is usually the wires in the strap in the affected door which may have broken insulation and hence the short ,therefore the fuse blows repeatedly.

another possibility is a faulty motor or regulator which is stiff and hence draws a lot of current blowing the fuse ..
