These guys talk at great length about K & N filters. Some of the posters provide good technical information about many products rather than just giving testimonials.

Apparently Mobil (Exxon/Mobil) thought that they should release a hybrid synthetic for older high milage cars, that is part synth and part "carrier" conventional based lubricant. Why they chose April 1st to release it, is questionable marketing!

Mobile Drive Clean Plus is avail in 5W-30, and in "Older Car" forumlations of 10W-30 and 10W-40. The higher viscosity grades can be useful in addressing oil consumption and lubrication needs of higher mileage vehicles.
