190e engine block swap

Need help...
I've had a 1988 190e 2.3 since new, end of last year after a 180k+ miles the loyal four banger literally blew up destroying the engine block.
I have had a very hard time finding a good used block to rebuild and after looking everywhere it turns out a friend of mine has a block, crank, con.rods and pistons for a '84 201.
My question is will I be able to use this block and parts with all the accesories I have (most of which are relatively new: alternator, A/C Comp, PS Pump etc.)
Thanks in advance!

While some parts are interchangeable, the 1984 2.3L M102 engine was kind of a "one-off" since the engine changed in 1985 to higher compression and more hp. A good example of how different the engine is can be found in Performance Products parts catalog for the 190E. The 1984 engine has its own section, apart from all the other 102's.

Thanks MTI,
My main interest, since all other parts are more readily available, is wheter I can use the engine block itself to put my engine back together or I better wait for the right block to come along.
I have the PP catalog and noticed the separate section for the '84 but while the illustration is the same on both ('84 and '85 and newer) no information on the block is given.
Tks.
