Question Dummy fader switch?

Hello all -

I was just wondering if anybody ever come across a 'dummy' fader switch. I've had my aftermarket stereo installed for quite some time now, and I have no need for the fader. Has anybody found a flat filler piece that can take the place of the fader switch?

I saw where someone had fashioned a stereo headphone jack in place of the fader wheel.

I kept the fader - but active only on the rear channel. It is not active in the center position or north, so the chance of burning it out with moderate power is slim, and it is still handy to quickly fade out the rear to placate rear-seat tin ears. The menu-driven faders are a pain. It does not reduce power if not fading.

I have already bypassed the fader switch, but I'm looking for a piece of solid plastic to fill the space of the knob. Anybody ever done this?
