1970 250c Mercedes
Hi I have a 1970 250c Mercedes and desperately need a wiring diagram for my power windows, the whole car actually. I already have the haynes book - which doesnt tell you much about them. If any one know where I can get on free or cheap please let me know. I also need a honest transmission mechanic that lives in the california area. My merc wont come out of 2nd gear - acts like it wants to bad. RPMS are up there, I can only go like 30mph. Someone told me it could be the throttle arm stuck??? HELP I am a woman but I do know my Mercedes Benz well. Please email dosoakies@mac.com |

I had a '66 250S (similar transmission) that did the same thing. Mine turned out to be a broken shaft on the rear transmission pump. The dealer was able to repair transmission by removing only the "tailshaft" portion and replacing the pump- did not require trans. removal. In my case the speedometer quit working when the pump shaft broke (the speedo drives off that same shaft train). If that sounds like yours, suggest that they ck. rear pump.--
