Where are the two harnesses to disconnect the alarm on the 124's. Is it towards the front of the car under the carpet? There is a black one and a red one, are those it?

No!! They are under the panel that is under the carpet and the floor mat. Take off the black panel and you will see a box with two plugs on it, one larger than the other. Take off both plugs.
