ML 320 Shop manual

Does anyone know where I can purchase a shop manual for a '98 320 ML. I tried Mercedes and they say that they have not produced one yet.

Are you looking for something specific, or just general information?

I wanted to buy a chassis electrical manual and a drivetrain manual. I called Mercedes and they said all shop manuals are now on CD. But they have not developed the CD for the ML's yet. I don't know how they have all of their dealer mechanics working on these vehicles without literature, and suspect they just do not want to release this information to the public yet.

All of the repair info for ML's is on dealership computer database
that is updated by MB. The cost of repair manual sets was becoming silly at over 1500 bucks a set.
Books are becoming phased out which sucks for us since having a book in front of you is nice, and our p.c.'s are always on the fritz.

There was a 1998 new model book we all recieved way back when. It has some usefull info on the 98-99 Ml's including some
diagrams, repair, and R&R info.
the MB number is T-2678-097 and can be ordred thru your Dealer's Parts Department as literature.
The cost is somewhere around $30.00
It is 170 pages long.

Best wishes
