I have a thump in my car, it seems to come from the front and is there from the very start to more than 100 mph, it seems to be once per tire turn, I think it is a irregular worn tire, could you describe what your thump sounded like? (perhaps you don't even remember it ;-)

Thanks.

Thumping

Went through a lot of parts before I found out it was one race of the outer left hub carrier bearing. My noise was between 30 and 55MPH. Not that hard to change if you get the hubs off and send them to a machine shop for R&R. Craig

Bud did you have a vibration in the car? (in mine, you can SEE the steering wheel at certain speeds)

No ssanmor, no vibration in my case at all, this is what was so strange about it, if you have vibration, check the tires first, uneven wear, maybe something stuck in it, I've seen that happen. Swap the tires around see if it changes the situation.
