Electric Window Mechanism E420 Rear
 

My right rear window mechanism "ground" to a halt. I took off the door panel and have been confronted with the following: the motor is fine, there are two cables..one wound around the motor capstan the other just lying at the bottom. There is a fractured plastic part on the part that rises with the window. Does anyone know where I can find the mechanism layout and if I can replace the part?

Easy Fix
 

You need a new window regulator. It should cost about $100.00 US at the dealership. I swear it should take you about 30min to replace. be sure to get the 4 steel rivets to go with it..
