When I purchased my 1986 2.3-16V about a month ago, the self-leveling system fluid reservoir was empty. Now I know why; at my shop, the tech added fluid and started the motor -- YOW! fluid started spurting from the pump (from the gasket between pump body "halves", not pump and engine).
Question: Is there a "rebuild" kit available from mercedesshop.com? If so, how much is it and how much time would be involved with having my shop rebuild the pump? I priced a rebuilt unit at $249.00; new at $484.00! Thanks for any input! Brian |

Send a part request in at the left of the screen. The kits are usually cheap.
