ok I've checked the bulbs they are german.
The switch feels good. where is the cc amp on my 87 300e? |

Since we are talking about bulbs, I will assume the cruise. It is under the driver's side kick panel. You have to remove the kick panel and it is to the left of the brake pedal. It is a silver box.

You will find the cruise amp under the left side of the dash right in front of your knee. It sets in a bracket mounted to the vinyl dash and will require standing on your head to find it. VDO cruise amps fail on all! mercedes sooner or later. Rebuilt units are available at half the price of new. To be on the safe side carefully follow the installation instructions that measure Resistances in the system. Good luck!
