Don’t buy from Mercantile Europarts Inc.
Don’t buy from Mercantile Europarts Inc., because it could turn in to a nightmare like it did for me. I purchased an S600 style Avantgarde grille. They sent me a broken grille, they double charged my VISA, and then they refused to fix the double charge without formal paperwork from VISA. I made numerous phone calls to Mercantile Europarts and VISA, I wrote numerous emails to Mercantile Europarts, I have done all the formal paperwork with VISA, and I registered a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau, but I am still waiting to have the double charge corrected. In addition, they charged me a substantial restocking fee for the returned broken part. DO NOT BUY FROM MERCANTILE EUROPARTS !

The problem with the aftermarket shops, at least the actual brick and mortar store, is that their prices can really hurt. You should order catalogs from Bergwerks, RennTech, Performance Products, Bekkers, Capitol West and Adsit. Apparently there's a tuner shop opening in the midwest (Chicago?) that has Schatz, Lorinser, etc. supplier. Andrea Brookes, I believe.

Nope, just received it in the mail. They sent it from Germany via "Economy German Post", and it took like four weeks.
I'm on a business trip right now in Uncasville, CT, and will be flying to Dallas tomorrow evening. I am flying home Sunday evening. I plan on installing it on Monday.

Its easy to cut and weld and "crossbreeeeeed" BUT on my next one (92 300E) I want to retain the Benz drivetrain, and all the creature comforts etc.

Uncasville? Too funny, but I'll be flying through there tomorrow (in my 500E).
So, if you see a fast-moving Red sedan, stay back....
