stolen 500E..need help..

I'm sure many of you have seen pictures of my 92 500E posted here on MS. Well sadly to say that two nights ago my car was stolen. I never would have thought that it would get stolen. I know this may sound funny or stupid but if anyone hears or knows of a stolen 500E in the Southern California area I will reward them for information leading to my car. I am pretty sure it was stolen by a pro since there was no broken glass where it was parked. To all the 500E owners I suggest you think twice of where you park your car or you may end up like me. Now I have to sit around and hope that it will be found, but I'm sure if they find it most of my mods won't be there but I'll even take back just the car. This just goes to show you how screwed up of a world we're living in. Anyway you all keep enjoying your 500's and keep them close.
Thanks in advace for any help.

PS. Just in case you havent seen my car before here is picture of it.

Sorry to hear of your loss. I hope it's found quickly and intact.

Good luck!

Sorry to hear about the loss of your car. May I suggest you post the chassis # and any other mods and or unique characteristics of the car.

This is a large national group, there are not very many 500Es and who knows .... someone might just run in to it.

If someone does "encounter" it, how would you like him or her to inform you? or law enforcement?

Haasman,

The car is all Black Pearl (Charcoal gray) it has 2 piece AMG wheels with the painted centers to match the car color and a polished lip. It is lowered and has a Remus exhaust system. The front bumper is molded one piece and the grill is also painted to match the color of the car. I know it's a long shot but you never know. Thank you alll very much for your help and advice.

You are welcome.

If you are hesitant to post your complete VIN # here, how about the last six digits. Since both the car body and also some the parts have VIN identification #s on them, it may help.

Bastards!

I'm so sorry to hear about this ... I travel between L.A. and San Diego all the time, so I'll definetly keep a look out for your car. May I suggest that you keep an eye on AutoTrader, eBay, and the local newspapers (can be accessed online).

I wish you the best.

Keep an eye out on e-bay...

How the heck did they steal it? Can`t be easy to hotwire. Must have been a tow truck. Hate to say it, but its probably being parted out. Hope your insurance covers it???

I`ll keep an eye out.
