Could anyone tell me how would I be able to remove the lockcylinder from the trunklock of my 86' 300E. I checked the manual, it only talks about the door locks but there is nothing regarding the trunk. I want to keep the vacuum element and change only the cylinder. Thanks

I have not done this before, but the whole lock assy will come out from the inside. Take it all of the way out and then work on it on the bench. You will need the key that fits that lock to remove the cylinder.
