stock station wagon shocks, lol, has anyone does this??
thanks

Just about every V8 had one of the plates. At least everyone that didn't have pump; which was about every 450,380,and 420 out there.

No I would never by pass that system. I have plugged the hole on a number of applications that use that pump. The same pump is used for every engine back to 115. For US use just the 100, 102, 117 5.6, and the 617 motor used the pump number 117 230 00 64.

I'm not sure what you ned to remove but the cover has a part number 116 015 02 09 w/gasket 117 015 00 80.

www.bekkers.com and www.delsingmotorsport.com both sell block-off plates for the 16v

Well the cover and gasket at the second site are pictured and if you rather anodized aluminum to the cad plated steel that MB uses it might be worth almost twice the price.
