96 C280 Water Leak

Hi,

I am getting some outside water leakage that is dripping from the passenger side lower panel, around the blower housing.
It is not coolant or compressor oil and appears to be rainwater.

It is my understanding from Alldata that this model has a water collector with a drain tube. The drain may be plugged with debris. Where would the outlet from the drain be located under the car?

Is there another popular reason that may cause this type of leaking?

Thanks

The rainwater leak is dripping from the blower housing next to the cabin filter. Will have to do major dash removal to look for exact source. I want to investigate the water collector drain before looking further and need to know where the drain outlet is located.

Thanks

It could be Air Conditioner condensation drain tube water, under the car in line with front bulkhead is black tubing passenger side just off from center.
I haven't cleaned mine so location may differ by a few inches

When it rains the A/C may be pulling more moisture out of the air.

After running A/C look under car and look for dripping, follow that up into underside.

Also check and make sure that water falling on the windshield is drained out of rubber tubes on each front underside rocker panel

I brought the car for service today to have the works done. They told me that the coolant expansion tank has a crack in it and the water pump is leaking...
