380sl Climate control
 

I have a 1981 380SL that has no heat or ac. I have aquired the service manual on CD, however there is no coverage of this system on the CD. My question is; can I use another 1981 or 1982 Mercedes as a donor car? Are all the climate control systems the same across the models for these years or do I have to locate a 380sl?

Scott, your post is somewhat vague. There are many different aspects to consider when dealing with climate control. Perhaps if you could define the problem in more detail a start could be made towards a diagnosis.

Scott, I've got a Mercedes Service Library CD for the model 107 that covers HVAC, chassis, engine, electrical and owner's manual for all 107 from 450SL through 560SL, and it does indeed cover the system on your car. Email me if yours doesn't.
