Hi. when i turn on my AC(MAX), I hear this boomy noise coming out of it. What can possibly be wrong? How could this happen after 3 years only??? I am very disappointed in the way Benz makes cars.....Will this be covered by warrenty?? My mileage is 38k. Thanks...

Someone installed a radio in your evaporator.. Seriously, what the hell is up with this car??? Can you tell us what systems do work properly? This thing sounds like a LEMON!!! I've never heard of a "booming" noise associated with A/C.

Sounds like leaves in the blower housing?? Either that or the filter could be plugged.

I've had similar experiences in two Japanese cars. It seems that when I parked in my garage, and left the windows open an inch or two for ventilation, mice built nests in the HVAC ductwork somewhere near the motor. The only symptom was a very noisy blower on the highest fan speeds, and reduced airflow in AC mode.
