Any ideas on fixing the TRIP ODOMETER (the one that can be "reset" with the white inner gear). Mine just goes til' .3 and stays there while the MAIN ODOMETER still goes on. Does the "white" inner most gear have to be fixed on the ROD/SHAFT? Thanks! |

There is a shaft that has come out of place. It is different from the odometer repair. It is at the bottom of the speedo assy. I always drop a small bit of super glue on to the rod to keep it in place.

That seems to be a chronic MB odometer problem, it's all plastic. I don't speak odometerese, so I took it to the local speedo shop and he was very familiar with the repair. It took an hour and about $75 for overhaul and calibration. Works better now than it did new. Sorry I can't be direct help, good luck.
