95 S420 driver's door lock and lumbar - related?
 

Is there a relationship between the vacuum feed to the driver's door lock and the vacuum feed to the driver's seat lumbar adjustment? Neither that lock nor that lumbar adjustment work in my 95 S420. All the other vacuum functions work including the lumbar adjustment on the passeger side and the parking antennas.

It doesn't make sense that there would be any relationship except maybe a common chamber in the pump, although I don't yet understand what runs off the closing assist pump and what runs off the central locking pump.
