Recently, I have tried about 4 different license plate frames on the deck lid of my 91 300D. The problem is that there is so little clearance betweem on the top edge of the plate and the deck lid "handle" strip that none of these would fit in the space provided.

I keep looking for frames with a "thinner" edge, but no luck thus far. Anyone else have this problem, or come up with a solution? There must be something out there that fits.
