this is very annoying
 

My car has an oem alarm system.The po. added a keyless entry system which works o.k except when the car is unlocked and i press the trunk button all of the doors and the trunk lock.Can someone tell me what the problem might be?

I don't think that is what he is saying. I take it that when he pushes the latch button to pop open the trunk, it activates the locking mechanism switch, relockng everything. This is not normal, but having wired in a KE myself, the only way the installation is likely to be the culprit is if he added an aftermarket trunk release solenoid. This is usually only done on vehicles which always require a key for trunk access.

I would suspect an adjustment or repair is required on the trunk-lock switch. Since my only experience is with a different model, though, there might be another explanation.

sbourg: You are correct.The system worked fine for over a year all of a sudden it started locking all of the doors when i pushed the trunk button. I am not familiar with this locking system,so i don't know what to look for.
