Gosh, Benzmac, what did you get for a replacement. The Fluke98-II is my favorite choice among the five scopes I own. Did you get one of the new Vetronix scopes (boy are they neat). I was at a IATN seminar recently where it was demo'ed, it was impressive, but; Paul Johnson pointed out that it didn't have a pulse trigger. He is one of the real scope wizzards and I have to consider this pulse triggering concept. He is using a Tek 720. I noticed an add for the new Fluke 199 and it also has pulse triggering.
Your price is the best I've seen for a 98-II used and wouldn't last a day on the iATN classified. For great price on new, to compare, see: http://www.aeswave.com/framedcatalog/product_Fluke98+STARTER.htm ------------------ Steve Brotherton Owner 24 bay BSC Bosch Master, ASE master L1 26 years MB technician [This message has been edited by stevebfl (edited 03-22-2000).] |
