190E Bowden cable?

I have been working on my son's 85 190 E ,fixed the odomiter and trip meter today.Trannys flares a bunch between 3 an 4 ,took a turn on the moulator,but can find no way to adjust Bowden cable?

Bowden cable adjustments will have no effect on the flare. It'll simply move the shift points up or down. Odds are the clutch pack is simply worn out but, it can be patched by way of adding the accumulator kit. Do a search for the kit part number and there is even a picture on here somewhere showing the 2 accumulators and explaining which one is which for 2-3 or 3-4. Mod adjustments will simply firm ALL shifts and might make the 3-4 bearable but, the 2-3 will be harsh.
